Lustful Possession Series by H. K. Carlton @AuthorHKCarlton #TimeTravel #Paranormal #Romance #Series

I’m always thrilled to welcome Author H. K. Carlton to my pages – today, I asked her to share the Cairnnon Castle series, which I devoured when it came out. If you haven’t read this series, you are in for a treat!

~ o ~

A seemingly harmless paranormal investigation sparks a series of haunting events that ultimately sends an international team of supernatural investigators to Ireland and to one of the most haunted destinations in all of Europe.

Travel Through Time and Unravel the Mystery of Cairnnon Castle

Thank you so much for having me back, Adriana, and allowing me the opportunity to time-travel through my backlist. It’s always a journey when taking a look back, from the first little niggle of the initial idea to the final published story. It’s not always an easy process, but it’s always a trip worth taking.

Meet the O’Cairnnon’s — a fate most don’t survive

The Lustful Possession Series in reading order:
Meet Me in the Dark
Dark Foursome
The Fall of Cairnnon Castle
Rising from the Darkness
Dark Seed
Bending Darkness
Dark Defeat
Though this collection of short stories is predominantly dark erotic paranormal—at times verging on horror—it runs the gamut in sub-genres and eras—from contemporary to historical time-travel, and back again. Please note: the saga also incorporates both m/f and m/m couplings, plus some multi-partner interaction.

Part 1 – Meet Me in the Dark
(m/f, paranormal, erotic, contemporary, ghosts, possession)

Crishtin Davenport thought she was attending a simple Halloween event—a good scare to get the blood pumping. Little does she know her actions that night would unleash an ancient evil.

👻👻👻👻👻

Part 2 – Dark Foursome
(m/f, paranormal, erotic, contemporary, ghosts, possession)

A foursome takes on a whole new aspect when a fledgling couple, is hijacked by two randy spirits, who then use their corporeal bodies to recapture the sexual pleasures they enjoyed while inhabiting the physical world.

🏰🏰🏰🏰🏰

The saga takes a sudden medieval time-travel twist in Part 3 – The Fall of Cairnnon Castle (m/f, time-travel, Ireland, historical, paranormal, dark erotic, verging on horror)

Caught in a cave-in, Scientist Neve Brádach, lies broken and dying, trapped inside the most haunted castle in Ireland with the infamous elemental, Bás a thagann. Neve is left defenseless to fight it and is forced to suffer a life that is not her own

💀💀💀💀💀

Part 4 – Rising From the Darkness
(m/m, paranormal, erotic, contemporary)

U.S. paranormal investigators return to Ireland to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Fall of Castle Cairnnon. But what they find instead might set the paranormal community on it’s collective ear.

👿👿👿👿👿

Part 5 – Dark Seed
(paranormal, erotic, contemporary, m/f story with m/m interaction)

The supernatural investigators’ astounding discovery at Cairnnon Castle, can only be described as a miracle.

Or perhaps one blessing, is just another curse.

👹👹👹👹👹

Part 6 – Bending Darkness
(m/f, paranormal, erotic, time-travel, historical)

The Cairnnon curse threatens to turn one woman’s dreams of happily-ever-after into a hellish nightmare.

😈😈😈😈😈

And Part 7 – Dark Defeat – The stunning conclusion to the Lustful Possession saga (paranormal, dark erotic, time-travel, historical, an m/f story with f/f and m/f/f interaction)

Hell-bent on saving her children, a mother will stop at nothing to defeat the evil that stalks her family, or at the very least, she’ll die trying.

Evil never gambled on battling one pissed off mother!
This erotic paranormal collection of short stories contains both mf & mm pairings, plus multi-partner interaction; & also cliff-hangers. Installments must be read in order.

Enjoy an excerpt from my favorite book in the series
(Am I allowed to say that? 🤔) 😉

Lustful Possession – Part 3: The Fall of Cairnnon Castle

Cairnnon Castle, Ireland—The Present

The earth underneath me quakes. The sky above me falls. It rains down on me. Pain explodes inside my head. My ribs break. I am crushed.
A deafening rumble offends my ears. My body is tossed and crumpled, battered by debris. It goes on for an eternity.
And then…
Silence. Stillness.
The pain is immense. Like nothing I’ve ever endured in my life.
Oh, God! Please! I implore wordlessly. I cannot speak, scream, or moan.
My eyes are closed. But beyond me, there’s brightness, so vivid I detect it through my closed eyelids. I try to open them, but none of my faculties are functioning. I am heavy. My lungs are burning. It hurts to even take shallow breaths. I concentrate on the unenviable task of simply inhaling in and out—an action I have obviously taken for granted all these years. The dust is choking me. I try not to cough. I will split apart if I do. My ribcage has already splintered with the weight upon me.
A low hum begins. It is annoying, but as it goes on it becomes comforting, harmonious.
As the fire in my chest subsides, I am lethargic, sleepy, and content.
Stillness.
I know what this is. It is elemental. Inevitable, from the moment we take our first breath.
I wait for it…
Death comes.

New Release from Kate Hill! @katehillromance #Blogtour #MFRWAuthor

Fangs and Fists 1: Bolt
by Kate Hill
An erotic paranormal romance from Changeling Press.

In a futuristic world ruled by demons, werewolves are enslaved to fight in gladiatorial matches for the amusement of their evil masters.

Kiara remembers what life was like living free–before she was taken by demons and bred to gladiators so that the new generations of wolves would retain their ferocity but forget their freedom. Mated to top gladiator Grit, she has a son with this surprisingly gentle lover who is also planning their escape. When Grit is killed in the arena, his close friend Bolt upholds his promise to protect Kiara and the cub.

Bolt and Kiara have loved each other from the moment they met, but they buried their feelings because she was mated to his best friend. When Grit dies, despite their guilt, Bolt and Kiara surrender to their desire for each other. Will their love be strong enough to help them win freedom from their evil masters?

Excerpt:

Startled, Kiara jumped to her feet, her senses alive.

Two guards shoved Bolt inside. Naked and covered from head to toe in dried blood, he stood, trembling visibly. His blue gaze found hers and Kiara felt a bit ill. She’d never seen him like this.

“She’s yours now,” said one of the guards. “We’ll remove the cub of her previous mate.”

Kiara nearly panicked. She growled, her inner wolf on the verge of attacking the guards, futile as it would be. Still, she’d rather die fighting to protect Jett than willingly surrender him to these monsters.

“No,” Bolt said. “The cub is too young. Let her keep him for now.”

“Very well,” said the second guard. “But it will soon be weaned. Do your duty, wolf. She’s a healthy female and ripe for more offspring.”

The guards marched out, leaving Kiara and Bolt facing each other.

Kiara wasn’t sure about the severity of his injuries. The blood covering him didn’t look fresh, which was good. Apparently any wounds he’d sustained had started to heal.

She couldn’t begin to guess what he’d endured.

“Come sit.” Kiara reached for his hand. It was ice cold and he jerked away.

“I’m a mess.”

“It’s not the first time I’ve had blood on me,” she said, remembering the days when she’d hunted with her pack.

This time when she took his hand, he tightened his grip so that it was almost painful and followed her to the washroom. She turned on the water in the black tile shower.

Excerpt:

1: Winterbourne

It was happening at last.

The Master was awakening: his immortal soul was rising through seas of consciousness, thoughts unfreezing, clarifying, memories melting the icy prison of enforced forgetfulness.

His spirit hovered, like a formless black shadow of unspeakable evil, above his motionless body, trapped and impotent within the unforgiving crystal; looked down upon the heavy lid of the sarcophagus and was filled with rage, grief and the longing for sweet revenge.

But his powers were still at a low ebb. There was a dim flickering where before there had raged a sulphurous furnace of chaotic energies, the servants of his perverse and terrifying desires.

He was going to need time, imagination, cunning. But he was patient. He could wait. The world would know his power once again, and this time there would be no mistake.

There had been long years of imprisonment, betrayal, defeat. But he was back now. The arrogant fools had thought they could kill him: that in trying to kill his body they could annihilate his spirit. Soon they would know that there are some things in this world that are beyond understanding: some things that never, ever die.

He wondered what had provided the stimulus to his reawakening, what had struck the spark of consciousness into his frozen heart. In his weakened state, he was still blind. He could not even see his own face, fixed in an expression of unbearable agony beneath the heavy stone coffin lid.

He did not even know where he was. His memories were muddled, clouded by pain and long slumber. A dark cellar, somewhere beneath a great stately home. That was all he could recall. A silent and deserted place, walled up and forgotten for – how many years? He could not tell.

But he could feel. And already he sensed the power-source, as yet just a trickle of feeble electricity, but soon, soon he knew, to burst forth into a great surge of life-giving energy.

The sexual energy on which he fed. The power-surge generated out of the chaos of frenzied coupling. Someone, somewhere very close at hand, was preparing an orgy and, although they did not realise it, the Master was to be their honoured guest.

The girl wore nothing but a thin white shift made of the thinnest, most diaphanous cotton lawn. Her body was pale, firm, perfect: the body of a young and beautiful girl. She could not have been more than eighteen years old at most.

‘Beautiful,’ breathed Delgado, reaching out a bronzed hand and running an incautious finger down the girl’s cool, white arm. She shivered slightly, as though she were cold, but she did not flinch. The girl seemed unusually docile, and her eyesale stared almost sightlessly before her. ‘You have drugged her?’

‘Of course,’ replied Madame LeCoeur. ‘A little injection to calm her down, a shot of something to make her more . . . receptive. Our lovely little child will enjoy her initiation, never fear. It was so good of Herr Königsberg to volunteer his daughter’s . . . services . . . for our opening night. Such beauty should not be wasted. Among us, she will learn to be a skilled whore. One day, she will thank her father for what he has done to her tonight . . .’

Delgado surveyed the girl and took in her charms. Tall, slim-waisted and full-hipped, her body was enough to delight any man. The bright blonde triangle of her pubis showed clearly through her thin dress and proved that she was a natural blonde. Her pert breasts were cherry-tipped and hard, bearing witness to the efficacy of Madame LeCoeur’s aphrodisiacs. Her eyes were a brilliant blue: clear and deep as an August sky. He was pleased with her. He turned to Madame LeCoeur: ‘You are quite certain that she is a virgin?’

‘You would like to see, perhaps?’

Delgado nodded. He was not easily moved by feminine beauty. A lifetime spent masterminding white slavery and the brothels of Marrakesh had left his palate jaded, and it took something exceptional to whet his appetite these days. He noted with approval and some surprise that he was salivating, and his hardened penis was bulging appreciatively inside his Savile Row trousers.

‘Lie down on the bed, child.’

Slowly, mechanically, like a sleepwalker, the girl obeyed. Her pale golden hair flowed over the pillow as she lay down on the blue silk bedspread.

‘Pull up your shift.’

Stay Sexy: What’s your erotic fantasy?

If you’re an erotic romance reader, we already know you like to fantasize – let’s face it, a major reason any of us read erotic scenes is to identify with one or more characters and ride the fantasy of exquisite, sizzling sex to its inevitable mind-blowing conclusion.

But here’s a thought, stimulated by a blog I happened on yesterday: How about fantasizing yourself as the star of your very own erotic movie, written, cast, directed and experienced in vivid detail by none other than you?

Eva Blake’s post on Liberating Desire got me thinking. What she’s proposing sounds a lot like the kind of bedroom excitement that set my husband and myself on the path towards writing erotic romance. We already enjoyed watching adult films as an extra touch to heighten arousal for our times together, and we started talking about which stars turned us on most, what we’d love to have them do, what story lines we liked, what qualities in the films turned us on or off. It wasn’t long before we were putting ideas on the page about what we’d love to watch or be part of and writing our own stories. Did we fantasize from the start that they’d be published? No – but all dreams start somewhere. Who knows where your fantasies can lead you?

So here’s our Stay Sexy advice for today: Let your fantasies fly. Reap the rewards of filling out the fantasy in all the details you can think of. Give all five of your senses a treat – what do you see, hear, smell, taste and above all touch? What do you feel touching you? How does the scene shift as you direct it? Does someone or something surprise you?

Maybe you won’t end up putting the fantasy on a page, but you will create an erotic experience you can revisit again and again, with or without a partner, and that can definitely help you stay vibrant, healthy, excited and sexy.

Just for fun, we thought we’d keep you guessing whether any or all of the following fantasies we’ve written came true for us:

a) enjoying sensual touch from three pairs of hands, in Shelia’s Pre-nups

b) having a splendid shipboard affair on a cruise, in Meghan’s Playhouse: April Swings

c) making love outdoors under the northern lights, in Colors of the Night

Did we get you thinking? What special ingredient would you include in your fantasy scene? We’d love to hear!

Have fun, and stay sexy!

Featured Book ~ 3, by Julie Hilden

We’re thrilled to feature this new release by Julie Hilden – enjoy!

3 by Julie Hilden

What’s the greatest sacrifice you would make for love?

Maya and Ilan have an unusual marriage: Maya will tolerate Ilan’s chronic infidelity as long as he includes her in the affairs. Initially, Maya finds these unorthodox threesomes as arousing as they are disturbing – but when her writing career takes off and she becomes more independent, Ilan feels threatened, and opts for sexual experimentation of another kind: one that plays on Maya’s fear and ultimately threatens her life.

Meanwhile, Maya is drawn into a relationship with a fateful third character. When her new liaison begins to mirror her marriage to Ilan, Maya discovers that her lover, seemingly a stranger, knows far more about her past than she has revealed.

Brave, daring and deeply erotic: 3 is a compelling chronicle of obsession and power.

‘Julie Hilden does what few writers can dare to. 3 is smart, sexy, strange and impossible to put down.’ Dani Shapiro

Excerpt:

It is the first Saturday in August when I walk up to the porch of the summerhouse and see them. I am supposed to be in the city this weekend but my interview is canceled, the actor called out of town. I see them through the fan propped in the window, through the transparent blur of its blades.

She is moving on top of him slowly, with such concentration that though she faces the window, though she could look right at me, she does not. I am only a few feet away from her. I have never seen her before.

I watch her glossy brown hair shift on her shoulders, I watch her empty eyes as she moves on him with calculation, with slack lips, with nipples so erect that the areolae wrinkle around them – as she moves with such pleasure, really, that who could hate her in this moment?

To love her, to want to be her, to want to touch her, yes. But not to hate her, not in this.

I watch her, and watch, too, a sliver of Ilan’s narrow chest beneath her, its pattern of hair that breaks across his sternum. I can see the necklace sliding on his chest as they move, the tiny silver hand slipping back and forth, its touch faster and jerkier than Ilan’s own smooth caresses – than the touch of his hand moving on her downy back.

For perhaps five minutes, I don’t say a word. It seems a weird privilege: here is the life I don’t see, the life that goes on without me. I watch them as a ghost watches the living.

Then I say his name slowly, just audibly. She starts and looks around wildly. When she looks through the fan and sees me, she gasps.

Ilan does not start at all; not a flicker. But he lifts his head, sees me, and winces, and just like that he lifts her off him and at the same time off the bed.

‘You have to go now,’ he tells her.

She dresses insolently slowly. Her blouse fastens in the back with a line of ties – it is really just a square of cloth that settles on her breasts – and she loops each of the ties into a perfect bow.

‘Fuck you,’ she tells Ilan. ‘You fucking liar. I deserve better than you.’ Righteous anger, but controlled.

She and I brush past each other. It’s as if she’s preempted me with her anger; I want to shout at Ilan too, curse at him, but I don’t have the heart. ‘I should leave too,’ is all I say.

‘You can’t leave me, Maya. I love you.’

‘Was this the first time – the only time? I need to know.’

‘It started in college,’ he admits, ‘a few weeks after I met you.’

I shiver. I never expected to be chosen by myself, for myself alone. It had felt wrong – unlike me – to be chosen. Now, hearing this, I feel only a sickening familiarity, not surprise.

‘It never meant anything,’ he assures me. ‘I felt awful about it. I don’t know where it comes from. I thought, with enough therapy, I’d talk myself out of it. But all I do is confess, I don’t change.

Look, can we at least sit down? I feel like any moment, you’re going to leave.’

‘Okay, but I’m not promising to stay.’

I sit down on the rattan couch. He stands behind me. I lean back and reach my head up to him – like a rabbit in a cage straining to sip from its water dispenser, the single round, hanging drop. And he leans down, princelike, to kiss me.

Then he starts to touch me. He slips his hands down my jeans, his fingers splayed, rubbing my clitoris insistently, with the slightest pressure. I moan quietly, move against him.

‘Don’t I know you?’ he says. ‘I know exactly what you want, don’t I?’

It agitates me as he rubs and rubs, softly, softly. He touches me the way he learned from me years ago – the way I touch myself. He studied it. The detail of his knowledge of me devastates. If I were to close my eyes, I could confuse his touch with my own.

But as he nuzzles into my shoulder, I smell sex in his hair and break away from him.

‘Would you at least shower?’ I demand.

‘No, you love that. Tell me you love it.’

In seconds my jeans are gone, my shirt is gone. He holds on to me, won’t let me leave.

‘It’s so soft,’ he says as he touches me. ‘You’re so wet.’

He gets a little bleat out of me as he rubs. Then I clamp my mouth shut. Ah, but then I relax it. I begin to breathe in the sex smell in his hair; I begin almost to like it.

‘Maya. Tell me you want this.’

‘I want it.’

‘I knew you did.’ And I do. And it is hours, then, before we can stop.

Hump Day Hook ~ Who’s the Coach? #HDH #kinky #swingers

…so Sunday night I was chatting with a fan – a baby boomer, like us – who told me she’d just downloaded Who’s the Coach? from our Swinging Games series at Extasy Books. She’d been reading it with her husband – she said they got to the end of a paragraph, looked at each other, nodded, and headed off to the bedroom for some fun of their own!

I have no idea which paragraph did the trick, but that’s exactly what hubs and I hope happens when someone reads our fiction with a partner.

Here’s a snippet about the series and the book:

Swinging Games Series

What’s a girl to do? Happily married with all her children grown, Jennifer Andrews has finally figured out she’s bi-sexual – but just turning on to hot f/f fiction and videos isn’t enough. She wants the real thing, and she wants to share it with Brett. Addition sounds so much better than subtraction. Will the swing lifestyle be the answer they’re seeking? They’re determined to find out.

Swinging Games: Who's the Coach?BLURB

Who’s the Coach?

Take on a newbie couple? Intrigued by the fact that both partners are bi, Brett and Jen Andrews accept the request of the much younger inter-racial couple to mentor them into the swing lifestyle. The tables are quickly turned when the new couple pushes boundaries and fulfills fantasies Brett and Jen only dreamed of!

So here’s a sample for you – maybe it’s the one!

EXCERPT

“So,” Jen murmured, brushing the back of her hand against the growing bulge in Brett’s pants. “Did you get a little turned on talking about our young lovers?”

“You could say that,” he said, as she cupped his balls. “And you?”

“Oh, I started to cream as soon I saw this package had that hungry look about it. Would you like to play a little, or do you want to wait until we play with them on Saturday?”

“It’s only Wednesday night. I’ll have plenty of recovery time.” Brett cupped Jen’s chin and kissed her softly. “Besides, you’ll always be number one. No matter how good someone else is, you always provide a little extra. So do you want to go upstairs?”

“I think that’s what they call love.” She interlaced her fingers with his. “The family room will do quite nicely. Why don’t we do a pool table fuck? We haven’t done that for quite a while.” She squeezed his balls. “You bring along the cue stick and balls. I’ve got the pocket.”

Guest ~ Kyoko Church on Tour

Today we’re thrilled to welcome Kyoko Church, on tour for her release, Sapphic Secrets (Book Two in her Draper Estates Trilogy). Some will find this controversial – we think she’s bold to forge aspects of her own experience into some very hot erotica.

Hi you two! Thanks for having me here. Oo, a husband and wife erotic writing team! How awesome is that? And me here now… it’s like we’re having a naughty little threesome. 🙂

I thought I’d start out this blog tour by talking reviews. We all like to get glowing reviews. I am grateful for anyone who reads one of my books, likes it, and says so. But I am also grateful for anyone who reads and gives comments as to why they don’t like what they’ve read. It’s interesting to consider different people’s tastes and why we like what we do. So today I thought I’d highlight some negative reviews! I know, I’m weird.

In my Draper Estates trilogy Lillianne is deemed to be suffering from nymphomania, is told she is ill, and is tied up and tormented by two different captors. Words like “creepy,” “disturbing” and “off-putting” were used by some to describe this. One reader was not sure if “it was supposed to be funny or serious” and lamented that my book is full of “ignorant and mean people.”

I totally understand this reaction. That last reviewer is right. It is ignorant to think that it’s bad for a woman to have a sex drive. And it is pretty mean that certain characters tie Lilly up and torment her because of those “bad” desires. I can understand that some people will just not think that is hot. I have a very close friend and fan of my work who simply hates this trilogy and would agree with that last reviewer. She simply cannot get past the idea that what’s happening to Lilly is against her will.

Obviously anything in reality that is actually against a person’s will is abusive and not hot at all. And I imagine to actually live in the 1860s as a woman with a significant sexual appetite who believed she was bad and shameful would be very sad. Actually I know it would be. Because growing up I lived in my own toned-down, mini version of that world.  I guess that’s part of where this story comes from. Sex in my family was a taboo topic. I was made to feel very bad for having sexy thoughts and desires. And I was sad. Still horny! But sad. Aw, don’t feel bad. It’s made for some very potent kinks now so, you know, it’s all good.

Now I know that having a healthy sex drive is something to enjoy. Knowing that and being a safe distance from the place where I felt bad about it is what makes me able to write Lilly and have fun with it. As for the fact that it’s against her will, part of Lilly’s torment is that, deep down, it’s not. I guess there lives a little girl in me who still feels bad for her desires… so she wants the big, bad man – or very sexy blonde maid – to come and just … make her.

Like this…

Celeste tightened the bonds firmly at Lilly’s wrists.

‘I’m so glad you are here to play my games with me now that I no longer have Yvonne, madame,’ Celeste said.

‘Celeste. No. I didn’t say that,’ Lilly said. Her housemaid had succeeded in slowly peeling off all of Lilly’s clothing while only undoing one bond at a time to get the clothing completely off while still ensuring Lilly could not get free. Now Lilly lay totally naked, more helpless than ever.

Celeste gazed down at her. ‘You look so beautiful,’ she said, as she circled Lilly’s body, trailing her fingertips all over her, making Lilly shiver. ‘I know you will enjoy them too, nos jeux, our games,’ she said as she ran her fingers up Lilly’s arm to her breast before slowly circling the pucker of her nipple. ‘See? Look how your nipples stiffen for me,’ she said, tweaking each one. Currents of sensation ran straight down to Lilly’s sex as she gasped.

‘Celeste, no. Please. We can’t do this.’ But Lilly’s protests sounded weak, especially as Celeste continued to pluck at her sensitive peaks and her body was bathed in arousal. Celeste bent her head down and began to tongue the little puckered bit of flesh closest to her as she rolled the other between forefinger and thumb.

‘No, Celeste! No!’ Lilly panted, all while her hips bucked up.

Celeste looked up then. Suddenly the faraway look in her eyes was gone and the darker shadows were back.

‘You want me to stop, madame?’ She went down and stood in the V made by the narrow tables Lilly’s legs were strapped to. ‘If I part your nether lips,’ she whispered, ‘will I find the seed the doctor speaks of?’

                ‘Please, Celeste,’ Lilly breathed. ‘Don’t.’

Celeste sat down on the chair and, with fingers on either of her outer lips, she eased Lilly apart and peered between her legs. ‘You are very wet, madame,’ she said. Lilly moaned as Celeste pressed two fingers inside her and with a scooping C motion along the inner walls of her clenching hole, pulled out an abundance of clear gooey wetness.

Lilly had never seen the evidence of her wanting like this, never had it studied, sampled and presented to her in this manner and she squirmed in embarrassment as Celeste held her sticky fingers up. Celeste, however, was unabashed as she stared in her mistress’s eyes and hungrily licked Lilly’s arousal off her fingers. ‘Madame,’ she whispered silkily. ‘It is necessary for you to be bound here with me all day, non? Perhaps we can find a way to make it a little more pleasant,’ she said, standing and stripping off her own clothing. ‘Then maybe I could clear away the evidence of your seed each day before Monsieur Draper gets home.’ Totally naked now too, she came close to Lilly’s bound frame and leaned down so that her mouth was by Lilly’s ear. ‘With my tongue.’ Oh god. Her tongue. Lilly shivered to her core at the memory of what Celeste’s tongue could do. She knew she should stop her, tell her no, but her sex pulsed hungrily in desperation for that slithery tongue.

‘Right now, for example, I am thinking of something,’ the maid said as she ran her hands over her own torso and pinched her nipples into peaks. She startled Lilly by climbing up onto the table where her torso was strapped down. Placing a knee on either side of Lilly’s head her voice became low and husky. ‘It is a game Yvonne named. It’s called Kitty with a Bowl of Cream.’ And holding her labia open above Lilly’s head, Celeste bid Lilly to stick out her tongue.

So, I know it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. And that’s fine! Chacun son gout, and all that. But if there’s a naughty little minx in you that can set aside her feelings of ‘that’s so creepy and wrong’ for ‘it’s just a fantasy, yes, make her!’ then… come on. Have a peek.

Featured Book ~ Reindeer Games: Cupid, by Lucy Felthouse

We’re always excited to see a new release by British erotica author Lucy Felthouse – we know you won’t want to miss this one!

Reindeer Games: Cupid by Lucy Felthouse

As a postman by day, and one of Santa’s reindeer on a single very special night, Cassius Cupid eats, sleeps, and breathes deliveries. He doesn’t mind, but sometimes wishes that someone would send him something more exciting than bills and junk mail.

One cold January morning, Cassius gets his wish. A young woman arrives with a parcel. Turns out it’s for his housemate – but Cassius doesn’t care. All he’s interested in is Carina – the beautiful female courier.

Has Cupid finally met his match?

Chapter One

Cassius Cupid woke with a start, and then sat bolt upright in his bed. Shit, I’m going to be late! was his first thought.

Milliseconds later his brain switched on, and he remembered. He was on holiday. Flopping back onto the warm mattress and pillows with a contented sigh, he smiled. No work for fourteen whole days—it was going to be utter bliss. He stretched, relishing the feeling it created in his sleep-softened muscles. Ahhh…this is the life.

He knew he wouldn’t go back to sleep—hell, it was eight o’clock, which was practically the middle of the day for someone in his profession—so Cassius fell to thinking about how he was going to spend his day, not to mention the several others in front of him. God knew he deserved to relax and have some fun. He’d just emerged from the busiest part of his year, and he was more than ready to do some chilling out.

He enjoyed his job as a postman—he really did—but the Christmas period was a total killer. He idly wondered how many cards and presents he’d delivered over the past few weeks. It didn’t bear thinking about. Once you factored in the festive period itself, the weird few days between Christmas and New Year, and then the flurry of mail that got sent when everyone went back to work properly at the beginning of January, he’d racked up some serious deliveries. And that was before you even thought about his other job—which was for just one day a year, but was arguably more important than the other 364 put together.

Cassius—or Cupid, as he was known to his boss and colleagues in his second, but most important job—was not only a regular postman for the Royal Mail, but also a reindeer. For a single day of the year, Cassius had the supernatural power to transform into one of Santa’s faithful steeds and help pull that famous magical sleigh, delivering presents to excited children the world over.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Cassius really did eat, sleep and breathe deliveries, but not for the next fourteen days. All he planned to do was watch some TV, read some books, maybe go out hiking, meet some friends… basically anything that wasn’t delivering something to someone. Hey, he might even receive something through the post himself—preferably not the usual crap; bills and junk mail. He didn’t hold out much hope.

He lounged in bed for another ten minutes before realising he was lying there just for the sake of it. Being on holiday didn’t have to equal staying in bed all day—and certainly not for someone as active as him. He reached over to his bedside table, grabbed his glasses and put them on. Throwing off his thick duvet, he walked to his bedroom window and peeked out through the curtains, immediately glad of the effective central heating he and his housemate had forked out to have installed the previous year.

The outside world was covered in a thick layer of snow, and Cassius was mightily glad that he wasn’t out delivering letters and parcels. The stuff was treacherous enough without having to carry a heavy bag up and down driveways, paths, and pavements — most of which either hadn’t been cleared, or had been cleared badly, leaving incredibly slippery patches of ground for an unsuspecting postie to come across. God knows he’d gone down enough times, but, much to his relief, nobody had ever seen him do it. He’d always been relatively unharmed—excerpt for his pride, of course—and had been able to scramble back to his feet and carry on.

The eerie silence outside was broken by the rumble of an engine, and Cassius turned his head to look up the street—he lived in a cul-de-sac, so he knew that’s where the vehicle would come from—and watched as a delivery van made its way slowly and carefully down the road. He hoped the driver was sensible enough to try and steer over the thickest parts of the snow—the more people went over and over the same patches, packing it down, the more the road surface resembled an ice rink. And since the cul-de-sac was on a slight hill, it was easy enough to get stuck. He’d seen it so many times—even going outside one time last winter to suggest the driver go down to the bottom of the road, turn around and try reversing up the hill—an almost foolproof plan for vans with rear-wheel drive. He’d gotten a big thumbs-up for that suggestion as the driver finally got to the junction where the road became flat, and went on his merry way.

As the van drew closer to his house, he saw that the driver was a woman. That would explain her cautious driving—he’d never admit it to one of his drinking buddies, but women were far superior when it came to driving in adverse weather conditions. He even thought he’d seen some survey containing statistics that proved it.

NAUGHTY OR NOT?

…so for the Naughty New Year’s Hop, I’m supposed to write about something naughty. What if I think writing erotica, being sexy, practicing or writing about kink, having lots of hot sex isn’t naughty? What if I think the opposite, that a vigorous and exciting sex life is healthy and positive rather than sinful or naughty?

In 2012, hubs and I got excited about the concept of Sex Positivity. Charlie Glickman blogs about this – essentially, if you’re sex-positive, the only criteria for judging sexual activity are that it is between adults, it’s consensual, it gives them pleasure, and it causes no harm to any involved. No room for any naughtiness or judgment here!

Does that take the fun out of it? I hope sure hope not! There’s still something dicey about getting away with something, risking discovery, sneaking a stolen moment, yielding to a forbidden fantasy – all these options spike up the rush of adrenaline and endorphins and increase the intensity of any sexual encounter. Definitely a plus.

Besides, sex is good for you. I’m going to borrow from a great list of sexual New Year’s Resolutions I found at this BLOG – for 2013, I hereby resolve to embody erotic aliveness. I wish the same for you – and I hope your sexy 2013 resolutions include reading lots of spicy erotic romance for two, three, or more.

To get you started, my prize for today’s Naughty Hop is a free download of Ripening Passion – a story about a mid-life couple who absolutely embody erotic aliveness. Leave a comment AND either sign up for my newsletter (upper l.h. sidebar) or Like my Facebook Page to enter!
