Guest ~ Lucy Felthouse

The Cottage in the Woods by Lucy Felthouse

Genre: Lesbian paranormal erotic romance

Blurb:

Living in her remote cottage in the woods, Heidi doesn’t get many visitors. So when she spots a fox in her garden, she’s delighted. However, her joy quickly turns to dismay when she thinks the beautiful creature may be injured. Heading out to see how she can help, Heidi is astounded when something happens that makes her question her eyesight – not to mention her sanity. Once she gets over her shock and discovers the reason behind the peculiar encounter, Heidi is mighty glad that the fox chose her garden to visit.

Excerpt:

A movement in the garden caught Heidi’s attention immediately. She peered out into the dark, her hands still immersed in the washing up bowl as she tried to catch another glimpse of whatever was lurking in the darkness outside her kitchen window. She wasn’t frightened, merely curious. She lived so far out in the wilderness that it could only be an animal, and the last time she’d checked, they couldn’t open locked doors. So she was perfectly safe.

What made her nocturnal visitor so unusual was its proximity to the house. Animals were braver in the city, where they’d become used to humans. But out here, they were still timid and very wary of man. Heidi’s little cottage was practically screaming that it was occupied, with its smoking chimney and blazing lights and yet the creature – whatever it was – was almost outside the window. Heidi frowned. Something definitely wasn’t right.

Another flash of movement, and Heidi finally identified her visitor. The beautiful russet fur, big bushy tail with flecks of white – there was a fox in her garden.

Grinning, Heidi rushed to dry her hands on a tea towel and then moved across the room to flick off the light switch. She waited until her eyes became accustomed to the darkness, then made her way back to the window. She spied the fox immediately, crouched down beside the hedge surrounding her garden, as though it was hunting something. A life-long nature lover, Heidi smiled, truly appreciating the stunning beauty of the creature. But the longer Heidi watched the animal, the more confused she became.

The fox hadn’t moved for some time. If it was hunting, surely it would have pounced by now? A sinking feeling rolled through Heidi’s stomach. Perhaps it wasn’t stalking after all, but lying down because it was injured? She knew that out here, if the fox was hurt, it had been attacked by another predator, rather than had a run-in with a moving vehicle. After all, the only vehicle around these parts was hers, so unless her truck had gone all Christine, it certainly wasn’t that.

No, it had to be another animal. It was survival of the fittest, the food chain and all that. She knew how these things worked, but there was no way she could leave the poor creature suffering in her garden. Not if she could do something about it.

Heidi began to plan exactly what to do. She knew that if the fox was injured and couldn’t move, it could snap at her in self-defence, it having no idea that her intentions were good. She desperately wanted to help the vulnerable creature, but preferably without ending up needing stitches and a tetanus shot.

As Heidi gazed into the darkness, trying to work out a solution, she lost her mind. At least, that’s the conclusion she came to as her eyes relayed an image to her brain which couldn’t possibly be accurate.

Guest ~ D. C. Mcmillen

We’re excited to welcome D. C. McMillen, here to celebrate a very hot new release, The Rusty Nail.

What’s your favorite part of being an erotica writer?

I am a copy writer by trade and it can involve a lot of research on not so interesting topics – hair removal, car insurance, weight loss, etc. At the end of the day, I like to pour myself a glass of red wine, let my id out of its cage and watch my fingers fly across the keyboard. Writing about sex and romance is a fun way to unwind and wind myself up at the same time. ;)

You have a series around a naughty yacht club – have you ever worked in the hospitality trade and made up “adventures” about the clients?

I’ve worked in the hospitality industry, yes, but it has yet to inspire me to write about anything hot and naughty. I am sure this is only because I vividly recall a tomato-red smock and overwhelming stench of cheap luncheon meat every time I think back to my “deli days”.*shudder*

You have a lot of writing resources on your website.  Do you feel that part of being a writer is helping other writers?

Absolutely! I do not feel like I am in competition with other indie authors. Rather, I feel that it is imperative we share our knowledge and resources with each other in an effort to advance the community as a whole while improving upon our own individual abilities and talents.

Can you explain Flash Fiction?

Well, I am not an expert on flash fiction by any definition but I do love the stuff. There is something exciting and challenging about attempting to write an entire story – one with a beginning, middle, and conclusion – in a finite amount of words. I like flash fiction that stays at 200 words or less but, in my mind, I consider any story that is written in 1200 words or less to be flash fiction.

Whenever I find myself at a loss as to how to tighten up a story I am working on, I will abandon it for a while to write a couple of flash fiction pieces. I find this helps me to get in the rhythm and mindset of cleaning and tightening my work.

Do you think it’s harder to write a short story or full length?

I absolutely think it is harder to write full length stories. I have written two novels so far and cannot yet bring myself to submit them to publishers. I keep going back in to write and rewrite different sections of the manuscripts. To be honest, they are driving me crazy! I am a lot more confident in my short stories.

Tell us about your new release!

My most recent release is a novella called The Rusty Nail. Here is a short blurb about the story:

The Rusty Nail is a novella about a diverse group of characters who somehow find themselves acquainted with a dive bar in the wrong area of town. The entire novella takes place in the span of a single day, and I hope you will be entertained (and turned on) as each character discovers the good, the bad, and the ugly about their partners, themselves, and their hidden sexual desires.

This novella contains blatantly erotic, sexy and graphic M/F, M/M, F/F  and even a couple of solo scenes. In other words, this novella is totally hot.

Guest ~ Jean Roberta, Sapphic Planet author

Today we’re excited to talk with another fellow author from the Sapphic Planet anthology, available in print and EBook. Welcome, Jean Roberta!

I’m Jean Roberta, and I teach English in a university on the Canadian prairies. Thanks to the law that made same-sex marriage legal throughout Canada in 2005, my long-term sweetie and I got married on October 30 (Halloween weekend) 2010.  We’re currently going through Renovation Hell, upgrading our vintage house which was built in 1914. We plan to invite more guests to our home when it’s ft for company.

I write in several genres. Over eighty of my erotic stories have appeared in print anthologies such as the annual Best Lesbian Erotica series (2000, ’01, ’04, ’05, ’06, ’07, ’09). A few of my non-erotic (sensual or suggestive) lesbian stories have appeared in such places as Kissed by Venus (www.kissedbyvenus.ca), where I also review books with lesbian content and write a regular column, “Stranger Than Fiction.”

My older publications are listed on my own site, www.JeanRoberta.com. I write monthly reviews for the in-depth review site for erotic literature, Erotica Revealed (www.eroticarevealed.com). I blog every Thursday on the six-writer blog, Oh Get a Grip (www.ohgetagrip.blogspot.com).

A collection of my rants, um, articles on the politics of sex is available as an e-book, Sex Is All Metaphors, from the Coming Together enterprise (www.eroticanthology.com) which publishes erotica to raise funds for good causes. These 25 pieces originally appeared in my column on the site of the Erotic Readers and Writers Association (www.erotica-readers.com) from 2008 to 2010. The title, “Sex Is All Metaphors,” is based on a line in a poem by Dylan Thomas.

My story in the Sapphic Planet anthology is named “Fame.” It’s about the kind of misunderstanding that often occurs in fairly small lesbian communities, where everyone “knows” everyone else, but where gossip and impressions can be misleading.

Is fame in the eyes of the beholder?

“Emerald Green,” locally-famous lesbian writer of Victorian mystery novels and visual artist, lives in the same artsy neighborhood as Jen, university professor and specialist in linguistics. Jen is fascinated by “Emerald,” but she doesn’t want to seem like a stalker. “Emerald” thinks Jen is an intellectual snob until she works up the nerve to speak to her about rising property taxes in the neighborhood.

Jen offers “Emerald” a glass of wine and an explanation. The two women discover that they have much more in common than they knew.

Here is a passage about “Emerald,” told from Jen’s viewpoint:

“Her pen name was Emerald Green, but her real name was Emily Carr. Really.

Emily was short, curvy, and charismatic. If you were in the same room with her, you couldn’t ignore her. It didn’t matter whether her body type, her strong features or her hair color of the week were currently fashionable. Emily didn’t need to follow trends. She was the kind of person who sets them.

I surfed to the website of “Emerald Green” regularly to read the latest news about her Victorian mystery series, and I checked her blog every day to read her thoughts. I bought one of her whimsical pen-and-ink drawings on-line. It was named Submission, and it showed a busty dark-haired woman on all fours, licking the high-heeled boots of a slim blonde who would have looked unnaturally tall even in bare feet. The Mistress was smiling as she peered sideways at her maid’s bare, pink bottom, exposed beneath her little black skirt and the long white sash of her frilly apron, which was tied in a large, poofy bow at her waist. The picture looked like an erotic portrait of Lady Gwendolyn and her maid Mary, the crime-solving team in the mystery novels.

“Emerald Green,” a self-professed submissive, was as much a creation as anything else she produced.”

Little does Jen know that Emily finds her cool, aloof, intellectually intimidating and very sexy. Jen is still feeling unlovable since her live-in girlfriend moved out, but Emily’s admiration seems like a miracle cure.

Most of my lesbian stories could be classified as erotica rather than Happy-Ever-After romances, but lesbian erotic romance is growing in popularity, and it is fun to write.

In “Madame Blanche,” I retell a French fairy tale of the 1600s about a shapeshifting cat and the prince who discovers her secret. In my version, the “prince” is every bit as bold but not as male as he is in the original. This story appears in a collection of lesbian fairy tales, Rumpled Silk Sheetswww.ravenousromance.com/lesbian/rumpled-silk-sheets-lesbian-fairy-tales.com

My story about a singing ghost, “Authentic,” appears in an award-winning anthology, Haunted Hearths and Sapphic Shades: Lesbian Ghost Stories, from Lethe Press (www.lethepressbooks.com).

Watch for my very short story, “Signature,” in a new anthology, Girl Fever: 69 Stories of Sudden Sex for Lesbians: www.cleispress.com/book_page.php?book_id=455.

Sunday Six ~ Accidental Contact

Here’s our Sunday Six, from our short story, “Accidental Contact,” in the just-released anthology Sapphic Planet.

Natalie rechecked the clock. It had taken her nearly five minutes to assess her situation, and she still wasn’t sure what was happening. Her breathing faltered. She did know her nipples were growing incredibly aroused.

Shutting her eyelids, she withdrew into her body to concentrate on one particular nipple. The one Bridgette’s thumb lay within an inch of.

Click HERE for a blurb and more about the anthology, and HERE for all the rest of the fabulous Sunday Six excerpts!

Guest Interview ~ Meg Leigh

Today we’re excited to welcome Meg Leigh – another of our fellow Sapphic Planet Anthology contributors!

Why don’t you start by telling us about yourself (Where are you from? What do you write/do in the publishing world? What do you do when you’re not writing — your “day” job, hobbies, obsessions, etc.?)

I am Australian, born and raised here and what the old timers used to refer to as a “Pure Merino” which means I am a third generation Australian by birth. I write both Lesbian (f/f) and Gay (m/m) fiction and have in the past, dabbled in het romance. My first published work was actually a het romance novel. I don’t have a day job, as I had to quit work due to a physical incapacity. That gives me lots of time to procrastinate…er I mean write. Yes, that’s it. It gives me lots of time to write! My hobbies include breeding chickens. I am hoping to develop my own bloodline of my favorite breed, the Australorp. I am also teaching myself how to use DAZ Studio 3D with a little help from a good friend. I’d eventually like to use that for making graphic art to illustrate my writing, or for web design.

Do you own an ereader? Why or why not? If so, what’s on it?

I have an iPad and an iPhone 4 each of which is crammed full of eBooks. I have everything from Agatha Christie to Zathyn Priest and all the letters of the alphabet in between. I tend to buy a lot of books, and then not read them for ages, so I guess that makes me an eBook hoarder. At least it doesn’t take up a lot of space!

Tell us about your writing: How long have you been writing? What genre(s) do you write in? What have you written (short stories, novels, etc.)? What works are currently for sale? Where?

I don’t really know how long I have been writing. I come from a family background where telling ‘yarns’ was a tradition. I used to love visiting my grandparents where my sisters and I would sit enthralled for hours listening to Pop tell stories of his youth, or ‘bush yarns’ about people and places in his life when he was growing up. A ‘bush yarn’ is a story that is not necessarily true, but is told as though it was. For examples of this, readers could look for the fiction of Australian ‘Bush Balladeers’ Banjo Patterson or Henry Lawson. I learned the craft of storytelling through listening to these tales and I guess writing them down was the natural progression from there.

I have a few short stories on sale at present through my account at Smashwords.com: http://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/megleigh

I also have a short story included in the new Sapphic Planet Anthology. My story is titled “Two Steps Back” it is a lovely erotic romance which I penned especially for the antho. It is the story of Juliet, an author who is struggling to rediscover her voice after battling a long illness. At the suggestion of her friend, Valerie, Juliet decides to take a weekend trip to a little Bed & Breakfast in the country. Her idyllic vacation is threatened though, when Juliet comes face to face with Heather, a woman from her past that Juliet had hoped never to see again.

The story deals with past betrayals and the concept of a second chance, both of which are some of my favorite themes in fiction.

What made you decide to write?

I guess that the answer to this question is covered above in the answer to the one about how long I’ve been writing. I didn’t make a conscious decision to write, but I do recall making a conscious decision to try and get published. I had spent a lot of years writing and sharing my work with friends, family and online pals but never thought about doing anything more with it, until quite a few of my friends began to say “You should be publishing your work for pay.” I figured that I must have developed a strong enough style and voice to give it a go. I submitted a short story for an eBook anthology and to my surprised delight, it was accepted!

What made you chose to write erotic literature in particular? Is there any other genre you’d like to write? And if so, why?

I like to write about human relationships whether erotic or just the stock standard day to day life stuff that goes on between families and partners. Erotica is a part of my writing, but I don’t really consider myself an ‘erotic writer’ in fact, when my characters want to have sex I often find myself wishing they’d go get a room and write it down themselves! *g* I tend to cringe and squirm my way through those scenes. Fortunately, no one has ever said that it shows in my writing. Maybe they’re just too polite? *bg*

How do you get ideas for your stories? What inspires you?

In a word, everything! I have seriously found inspiration in everything from a snippet of overheard conversation in a coffee shop, to a piece of paper blowing across the street. I am a keen observer of people, nature, and cereal boxes. I’ve even created characters based on the antics of my chickens!

Which comes first when you’re starting to write a new story: character, setting, plot, or theme?

It usually starts with a voice in my head. Sometimes I wonder if I’m not a writer at all, but just a nutcase who has learned to act out by writing things down, rather than actually going out and doing the things she imagines. Seriously though, I hear the characters talking. Sometimes it will be a line of dialogue. Other times, they’ll just start telling me their story and not stop until I have written it all down. I just transcribe, the “voices” do the creating.

Any advice for those who want to write?

One word. WRITE!

Oh, you wanted more than that? Hmmm ok. The best advice I can give someone who wants to write is not write what you know, but write what you love! Write things that ignite your spark, your passion. As far as writing what you know goes, you can learn and research just about anything, but if the stuff you’re writing doesn’t make your blood sing and your heart thud, it’s not going to do that for your readers either. WRITE and write what you LOVE.

Tell us about your first publication. What did you do to celebrate?

I danced around the house cackling insanely, shrieking “YES! Yes! Yes!” much to my partner’s alarm. She actually thought when she heard me shriek and then burst into wild laughter, that I was crying. She feared one of my kids had been hurt or worse. It took me about ten minutes to compose myself enough to let her know that it was actually good news.

Do you have a favorite character out of all the ones you’ve written? If so, who is it and why is s/he your favorite?

My favorite character of all time is “Alyssa” She’s the mother of Casey Lambeth in a novel I wrote called Hunter’s Dawn: Laying the Ghosts. Alyssa is actually a ghost and she was such fun to write. She has a very good sense of humor and was a fantastic comedic foil to the drama in that novel. It was kind of sad to say adieu to her at the end of the story.

Is there a way for fans and others to contact you?

I can be contacted via email at [email protected] and people can follow me on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/Meg.Leigh.Author  or twitter: http://twitter.com/megleighwrites

Tell us about your latest release – we’d love an excerpt, too!

My latest release is my short story, Two Steps Back in the new Sapphic Planet Anthology. I gave a blurb a little way back so I will just add an excerpt here.

Excerpt:

Juliet turned her car into the driveway of the little country cottage and switched off the engine. She sat staring at the house for a few moments. This would be the first real holiday she’d taken since before…she closed her eyes, remembered pain making her breath hitch in her throat.

It must be easily four years, she decided. She’d come back from that last vacation to bad news. The niggling cramps and nausea she’d suffered on her vacation had led to a diagnosis that stopped her life for almost two years. That, and the time it had taken to recover her strength. Writing had been her only solace in those dark days, but as her health and strength returned, Juliet had increasing difficulty in finding ideas to put on paper. She sighed, shaking her head to clear the morbid thoughts and climbed out of the car.

Grabbing her overnight bag from the backseat she made her way onto the porch and rapped at the door with the brass doorknocker.

While she waited for someone to answer, Juliet closed her eyes, letting the gentle cooing of mourning doves in the surrounding trees seep into her consciousness. Other birdcalls began to filter in as she listened. She drew a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Maybe this break would be good for her, after all.

Juliet turned to the door as she heard the latch work, smiling as the door swung open to reveal a petite blonde woman standing just inside, smiling broadly in welcome.

Her smile froze in place as Juliet looked at the woman. She blinked, unable to believe her eyes, and took a backward step.

“Heather…” Juliet faltered, “I… “

“Jules!” Heather said, throwing the door wide and stepping out onto the patio. “Oh my God! It’s really you.”

“Don’t!” Juliet dropped her bag, holding her hands out as though fending off a blow. “Please don’t do that.”

Heather’s smile faltered. She stopped and let her hands fall to her sides.

“There must be some mistake,” Juliet said. There had to be. She would never have booked into this place if she’d known it would mean coming face to face with a woman she had thought—hoped, she would never see again.

Equality for our stories ~ and all LGBTQ persons

I write erotic romance with my husband under the pen name Adriana Kraft. Most of the heroines we love to write and read are bisexual. In addition we’ve written some lesbian heroines and an occasional bisexual hero. So our pairings include M/F, F/F, and M/M, plus ménage, in a range of combinations.

Authors who write stories like ours have just been excluded from entering the “More than Magic” fiction contest based on those pairings – giving us a taste of the discrimination our characters so often struggle with.  The contest is an annual one sponsored by the Romance Writers Ink chapter of RWA (Romance Writers of America). In previous years, all romantic pairings have been eligible to enter, but this year, the entry guidelines state that the contest will “no longer accept same-sex entries in any category.

We’ve been members of RWA for over a decade, and we’ve celebrated two victories with that organization across the years. The first was an attempt by some members to define romance as between “one man and one woman.” Thankfully that went down to defeat, and the organization’s official definition of romance focuses on the following two elements, period:

A Central Love Story: The main plot centers around two individuals falling in love and struggling to make the relationship work. A writer can include as many subplots as he/she wants as long as the love story is the main focus of the novel.

An Emotionally-Satisfying and Optimistic Ending: In a romance, the lovers who risk and struggle for each other and their relationship are rewarded with emotional justice and unconditional love.

The second was the creation a few years ago of an on-line RWA chapter formed by authors of LGBTQ romances. We joined immediately.

Rainbow Romance Writers has been visible and active over the last two days spreading the word about this problem – and, once the first wave of anger settled out, chapter members and chapter leadership have been strong advocates of finding solutions to the problem.

It’s gone viral – several of our members blogged on Friday, Smart Bitches blogged about it yesterday, Suzanne Brockman has been posting on FaceBook, and it’s all over Twitter.

What can you do? Our chapter president, Heidi Cullinen, posted a blog today filled with things authors and readers can do to be part of the solution to the problem. If you care about LGBTQ romance and LGBTQ people, please take a look and get involved.

Weekend Dirty Dozen ~ they keep Swinging!

MMmm, that was a luscious beginning of an f/f scene last week – I think we’ll just see what happens next! Just to refresh your memories, Jen is waking up, savoring every second:

Warm fingers curled around Jen’s and squeezed them and then her fingers were grazed by soft lips.

Jen couldn’t wait a moment longer. She opened her eyes to see Sarah beaming at her. Sarah looked fresh and eager for the day to begin—though it looked like it had already started.

Sarah lay facing Jen with her backside nestled tight against Brett, who had a leg thrown over Sarah’s lower torso and a hand cupping a breast. He blew Jen a good morning kiss.

“Hi, good morning,” Jen said softly. “Guess I’m the sleepy head. Sorry about that.”

“Nonsense.” Sarah rubbed the back of a hand across Jen’s cheek and then kissed her gently. “It was so wonderful watching you stir, becoming sort of aware of your surroundings and then awaken. I never knew a sleeping woman could be so sensual. Well, at least you are.”

Swinging Games: Pushing the Limits is Book Eight in our Swinging Games series. It’s due out next month from Extasy Books, where you can find Books One through Seven. Here’s the Blurb:

Their new Unicorn Sarah Creston may be out of town, but that doesn’t stop Jen and Brett Andrews from burning up the wires with some scorching three-way phone sex. While they’re waiting for Sarah, Ryan eagerly pursues Brett for some hot male action, followed by a house party that challenges Jen and Brett’s stereotypes. Sarah finally arrives, exhausted and drained from weeks spent helping her aging parents. Jen and Brett provide total tender care for three days – but when Jen invites Sarah to move in for the whole summer, Brett asks himself, what’s the limit?

Weekend Dirty Dozen ~ Swinging: the morning after…

Here’s a third installment from our upcoming Extasy release in the Swinging Games series: Pushing the Limits.

Last week we dropped in on our happy threesome just after Sarah’s arrival. Now we get to sample the morning after, just as Jen is waking up:

Lying on her back, Jen felt the warmth of morning sun rays pouring through the east window caressing her nude form before she opened her eyes. Someone had been up and opened the curtains. Her nostrils twitched at the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. That answered that question. Brett was awake.

She stretched languidly, not quite wanting to begin the day. And then she remembered. That other scent. The scent of a woman. The scent of Sarah Creston. In their bed. Lying next to her.

A Little F/F Temptation

Let’s see, what sinful topic should I play with today? Here’s a clue – my last three releases all have some truly hot girl-on-girl erotic scenes. Do you detect a theme here?

So I thought I’d try to let you in on what appeals to me so much about bisexual and lesbian erotic scenes. First off – I love women’s bodies. Don’t get me wrong, I love men’s, too, and I can get as turned on by a steamy M/F scene as the next person. But there’s something special about the softness and the curves and the hot spots of a woman.

And then there’s the matter of style and pace – well, hmm. Anyone can be slow or fast, so maybe it’s just style. Here’s a sample of what I mean, from The Lady Wants More [Torquere, June 15]:

Janet leaned back until she felt the coolness of the window, but that did nothing to quell the heat pouring from her body—from her head, from her nipples, and especially, oh so especially, from her core. She curled her fingers around Brenda’s ears encouraging her to explore, to take her time—no, to hurry.

“It must’ve been a while,” Brenda said, dropping light kisses up and down the length of Janet’s pussy. “Your lips are so puffy and open and you’re already dripping and I’ve hardly touched you.”

“You’re torturing me,” Janet groaned. “And I love it.”

Another thing – I think imagination comes into play differently. When a woman does something to another woman’s body, her experience includes both what she’s doing, and what it would feel like to receive what she’s doing – double the turn on, double the urgency, double the tension. Irresistable!

Here’s a sample of the power of imagination, from Complexities [Book Three, Swinging Games, Extasy]

“Most every time I try to fall asleep I think of you with another woman.” Donna slanted a finger across Jen’s lips. “Please, I have to tell you. I admit I’m so jealous. I’ve dreamed about us together before. I hadn’t had that dream for years until recently. Then I’d wake up feeling so guilty I didn’t know if I could face you. Now I wake up soaking wet, certain we’ve been making love for hours and that you left before I could awaken fully.”

“But…”

Donna’s finger slipped into Jen’s open mouth.

Was it reflex, instinct or lust? With her eyelids closed, Jen didn’t spend much time trying to explain why she was suddenly sucking Donna’s finger deeper into her mouth.

So, um, yeah. It’s no surprise that nearly all my published heroines are either bisexual or lesbian. Here’s a quick pimp out on two of my recent releases:

The Lady Wants More [Torquere, June 15] is part of Torquere’s Sapphic Signs series, so of course it’s a lesbian romance. Or, perhaps more accurately, a falling-in-love story about a straight divorcee from the NYC suburbs and her former college roommate, a free spirit who’s been comfortably bisexual for years. Can you guess which character’s sun sign is Cancer and which is Aquarius? Here’s another EXCERPT for you.

Ripening Passion [Whiskey Creek Torrid, July 15] is second. On the surface it might look like a straight M/F love story – after all, Claire Johnson is pitted against her nemesis, Max Wilson, and they’ve got to figure out how to have sex on camera! But Claire is definitely bi, and the Sexuality Center where all the characters work creates lots of steamy DVD’s in all manner of combinations, so she’s never one to be left out. Yup, definitely some girl-on-girl here – oh, and did I mention, Claire’s a Baby Boomer? And not about to give up hot sex as she ages. You can find an excerpt HERE.

Smoldering Sunday Six!

Today’s Sunday Six comes from Smoldering Passion ~ prequel to Ripening Passion, both available at Whiskey Creek Press Torrid:

“I’ve yearned for this for some time,” Melissa said softly, unsnapping the buttons down the front of Inez’s dress.

“I know. I’ve seen the hunger in your eyes for me even when Brad was eating your pussy.”

Melissa snickered and pushed the dress off of Inez’s shoulders. It fell to the floor, revealing light olive skin. “I was imagining it was your tongue.”
