Today we’re thrilled to welcome fellow eXtasy author Renee Matthews, here to share about her upcoming Christmas release, A Timeless Christmas. Part of eXtasy’s Twelve Days of Christmas, it’s due out December 20, and you can pre-order HERE
Some Christmas miracles are not retold, but relived.
Prince Menion had never wanted for anything in his life minus Jacob Riker. Jacob and his twin brother, Lucas, came to the Kingdom of Miraennon every fall and always left before spring arrived. They would bring with them tales of magical worlds and add wonder to his boring life. Then last year, Jacob Riker arrived alone, and they grew closer than Menion should have allowed. Menion was expected to be married and be the next Lord of Miraennon by Christmas. None of those plans involved Jacob Riker.
Being a time traveler, Jacob Riker had never expected to be so stuck in one moment. After their months together, that had been Jacob’s own personal Christmas miracle. Then Menion Astaulind was standing in the snow breaking his heart and proclaimed love for another.
Now, Jacob stands ready to jump through the portal one last time to win over the only man he ever loved before Christmas comes again.

Last week we watched as Ed Harrington arrived on Maggie’s
front porch. That wasn’t the first time they’d met – as the book opens, she’s
chased him down in Des Moines on a trusted friend’s recommendation and offered
him a job. Here’s the reader’s first glance at his reaction:
EXCERPT
Harrington glanced away from Maggie Anderson’s penetrating blue eyes. They reminded him of robin’s eggs. He grimaced. He hadn’t seen a robin’s egg since he was a kid. But that wasn’t the reason he’d looked away. The woman was carrying too much pain; he already had more than enough pain for any one human being. He sure didn’t need to borrow any of hers.
Hang onto the land – but at what cost? Feisty widow hires ace racehorse trainer to salvage her family’s heritage. Can they survive escalating threats to life and limb?

About One Woman Only:
As one of a set of triplets, Jonah always feels the need to make his individuality known. So where his brother Daniel is serious and completely focused, Jonah shuns commitment. Where his genius brother Mark is hailed in the scientific world, Jonah hides beneath a car, tinkering. Thing is, being different isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. It takes a woman—the right woman—to make him see that a “good man” can always be a better man.
Kelly turned at the sound
of Jonah’s voice behind her. Dinner had ended. All three of the boys had given
best man speeches and Eve had even given a very creditable matron of honor
speech, considering she had only known Marilyn and Caleb a short time. Lots of
toasts had been raised and finally the live band had struck up the music. Caleb
led his bride onto the floor for a foxtrot—a dance more than half of the guests
had no idea how to do, including her.
Facing Jonah she sighed
inwardly at how scrumptious he looked. Sure, his face was pretty much displayed
on his brothers’ heads, too, but there was something different about Jonah. His
nose was just a little crooked from when Bobby Hendricks had broken it in ninth
grade and his eyes held an especially bright sparkle when he smiled. Maybe…
Well, she didn’t know what caused the difference between Jonah and his
brothers. Whatever it was, she had never been fooled by the so-called identical
nature of the identical triplets. She’d wanted to be his girl since elementary
school. Thought she would be in high school. And then she’d forced every last
thought of him from her mind from senior year on.
Until now.
“I don’t know how to
foxtrot.”
He shrugged. “Who does
except those over fifty?” He glanced at his folks, still alone on the
dancefloor, although a few couples were wandering out to join them now.
“We can pretend.”
She mentally compared
standing on the sidelines alone now that Mama Rio left the party, or being held
in Jonah’s arms. Smiling, Kelly held out her hands. “Just don’t step on my
toes, Jonah Goodman, or there’ll be hell to pay.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Together they walked onto the dancefloor. He took her right hand in his left
and placed his right hand on her waist. Fortunately for them, the music changed
to a slow tempo. Kelly laid her head on Jonah’s shoulder, and he tugged her
closer as they swayed to the music.
“This is nice,”
he murmured.
“Yes it is,” she
replied. So very nice. He smelled good. Beneath the light citrus fragrance of
his aftershave was a slight whiff of pure man with maybe a twinge of motor oil
or something so Jonah it brought tears to her eyes.
He rubbed a path up to her
shoulder blades and gave a squeeze. “You fit me perfectly, Kelly.”
“I do?”
“You sure do. I think
our hearts can feel each other beat.”
Kelly chuckled.
“Smooth talker. Face to face like this our hearts are on opposite
sides.”
“Hey! I’m trying to be
romantic here.”
She sighed. “Keep on.
It’s appreciated.”
“You smell…good.”
She felt his smile. Raising
her head she gave him a mock glare. “Watch it with those pregnant pauses,
buster.”
He used his hand to press
her head back to his shoulder. “You do smell good, though. This isn’t the
same perfume you wore in high school. That was—”
“Lilac,” they
said at the same time. Once more she raised her head to look at him. “How
did you remember that?”
“I remember much more
than you might think.” He turned her and moved her closer to the door onto
the patio. “Each spring when lilacs are in bloom memories come flooding
back. Does that surprise you?”
“More like shocks
me,” she said, grinning. And then she laid her head on his shoulder once
more, finding she liked it more and more there in his arms. She stepped
slightly closer and his arm tightened about her.
“Well, after a while I
thought lilac seemed too girlish. I like the vintage scents, so in college I
wore Wind Song. Then Shalimar was the scent Brad liked me to wear.” She felt
Jonah stiffen when she mentioned her ex, and really she didn’t blame him.
“But when I grew up enough finally to take charge of my own life, I
started wearing Chanel No 5. A complex fragrance for what I hope is a complex
woman.”
“It suits you. Complex
and beautiful.” He kissed her temple. “Want to step outside for a
minute?”
“Sure. It is a little
warm in here.”
On the patio, they could
hear the sounds of the people from the television networks packing up
equipment, chatting and laughing. Stars shone brightly in the clear night sky.
Wood smoke from someone’s fireplace wafted through the air and static
electricity fairly crackled in the crispness of the autumn air.
“This is my favorite
time of year,” Kelly said. “The heat of summer is gone and winter nights
curled up with a hot drink and blazing fire are ahead.”
“Not me. I’m a summer
boy all the way.”
“A hothead you
mean?” she teased.
“Oh, I’m hot all
right.” He waggled his brows at her. Kelly laughed.
“I do seem to remember
that about you.”
“You used to be pretty
hot yourself. Still are.” He leaned in. His eyes flicked down to her lips.
Kelly sucked in a breath. She should stop him, she really should.

Today we’re thrilled to welcome fellow eXtasy author Maggie Blackbird with a fabulous kinky release just in time for the holidays. You won’t want to miss this one!
He’s got the perfect Christmas present for the community’s chief—vengeance wrapped in a shiny box with a red bow on top.
Joseph Slade Indian
isn’t angry. He’s pissed. Pissed that the man who threw over his love for glory
and money is back, and now leads their Ojibway community as the new chief.
Holding the pain deep in his chest, Slade knows how he’ll celebrate the most
miserable day of the year—opening a gift of recompense after being dumped by
the one man he dared to love.
Gavin
Pemmican is full of regret. He knows he made a big mistake leaving Slade for a
materialistic dream of power and prestige. No longer the poor bullied misfit
but an educated lawyer, he’s ready to put his skills to the biggest case of his
life by brazenly challenging Slade in the kangaroo court of sexual torture he’s
daring to stick Gavin in—and win back the only man he’s ever loved.
Gavin swiveled on his black shoe, glancing over his shoulder. No,
not a glance. His heavy-lidded eyes burned into Slade. Searing him until his
mouth dried.
The napkin fell to the floor.
Reality slapped Slade’s face cold, and fire crackled in his veins.
Who did this asshole think he was, blatantly tossing garbage around while he
stood watching?
Gavin kept gazing at him while he shifted one leg over the other.
The sound of his heels clicking against the floor echoed off the walls.
Slade gritted his teeth. Was Gavin daring him to get mad, going to
throw around his newfound power if Slade told the high and mighty chief to bend
the hell over and pick that damned napkin off the floor?
Gavin’s dark eyed gaze continued to cut into Slade, as if sharing a
secret. There wasn’t a hint of smug satisfaction. Only a potent, seductive
invitation.
A man had needs. Slade swallowed. And he wasn’t about to get laid on
the rez, no matter if the population clocked in at eight hundred members.
With one final lingering peek, Gavin disappeared inside his office.
Slade’s breathing hitched. The lightness in his chest twisted until
his lungs clenched. He ought to leave the napkin on the floor and find out what
Gavin had to say about that. Slade set the mop handle aside. If he ignored the
trash, the band manager would call him out.
He trounced to the washroom door and leaned down, swiping up the napkin, but the plush material melting into his palm didn’t resemble a napkin. Then what the…? He turned the garment over. His throat clamped shut. Underwear. He was holding Gavin’s underwear.
Author Bio
An Ojibway from Northwestern Ontario, Maggie resides in the country with her husband and their fur babies, two beautiful Alaskan Malamutes.
When she’s not writing, she can be found pulling weeds in the flower beds, mowing the huge lawn, walking the Mals deep in the bush, teeing up a ball at the golf course, fishing in the boat for walleye, or sitting on the deck at her sister’s house, making more wonderful memories with the people she loves most.
…and welcome to December! Our autographed print giveaway this month is Book Two in our Riders Up series. Heat Wave offers a second chance to the hot-shot Arlington Park horse trainer who came under suspicion in Cassie’s Hope. Since then, Ed Harrington has seen some hard times, tucked his tail between his legs, and headed home to rural Iowa.
“Mom.
Mom!” shouted the smallish tow-headed boy dashing up the porch steps.
“What
is it, Johnny—you’d think the devil was chasing you.” She’d never understand
why boys always rushed around so.
Skidding
to a halt before her while the screen door banged loudly behind him, Johnny
said, “Somebody’s coming, Mom.”
“Who?”
“Don’t
know. The truck ain’t familiar,” he drawled.
“Isn’t,”
both mother and sister corrected.
Johnny
rolled his eyes. “There he comes now.”
Everyone
on the porch looked toward the driveway as an old faded green pick-up lumbered
toward the gravel patch where Maggie’s car and truck were parked.
She
didn’t recognize the man getting out of the truck, who stood tall in western
boots, clean Levis, and a white dress shirt with an ancient feed mill cap
dipped low over his eyes. Unable to make out his features clearly, Maggie rose
to welcome the stranger.
As he
rapped on the screen door, he said dryly, “Afternoon, Mrs. Anderson. It took a
while for me and Mabel to figure out your directions.”
With
those few words, Ed Harrington doffed his cap. A hint of a smile tugged at his
mouth. His gray eyes remained cool and guarded.

Hang onto the land – but at what cost? Feisty widow hires ace racehorse trainer to salvage her family’s heritage. Can they survive escalating threats to life and limb?
During
an oppressive Iowa summer of drought and farm foreclosures, widowed Maggie
Anderson makes a bold decision: She’ll merge her love of horses and her
family’s three hundred and twenty acres into a horse farm and try her hand at
nearby Prairie Meadows Race Track, where racing purses have just been augmented
by the recently added casino gambling.
Down on his luck after being falsely accused in a racing scandal and banned from training, former Arlington Park trainer Ed Harrington has skulked home to Des Moines to drown his sorrows and wait for the dust to clear. He’s unprepared for the piercing robin’s-egg-blue eyes of pint-sized Maggie Anderson, who finds him at a flophouse and offers him a job. Can he pull himself together and meet the challenge?
As
the two forge a tumultuous working partnership, they soon discover someone is
out to get Maggie’s farm and will stop at almost nothing to force her off the
land. Can they find and stop the culprit before someone is killed? Can they
survive the far greater danger unleashed by the raw passion simmering just
beneath the surface of their relationship?
For Laurel,
Christmas so sucks. She’s out of a job, money, and luck until her neighbor
Scott plays Santa. This tall, dark, and sexy hunk delivers sweet decadence and
holiday magic that makes being bad oh-so good.
Excerpt:
God, god,
god. Laurel indulged in Scott’s clean, wondrous flavor, his intense
heat, and male need.
He groaned
savagely.
The
unrestrained sound and his impassioned embrace said more than words could. He
wanted her as no other man had.
With one
hand firmly on her ass, he pulled her into him.
Trapped in
the best possible way, she surrendered to his desire and her own.
They kissed
as lovers would after a lengthy separation, his stubble scraping her cheeks and
chin. Few things could have better defined or intensified his masculinity.
She
couldn’t touch him enough and stroked his firm pecs, broad back, silky hair,
and the precious package between his legs.
A fierce
sound spilled from him. He pushed her tongue aside to fill her mouth and
fondled her boob.
Her nipple
came alive within his lusty caress, the tip and halo painfully tight.
Getting
close enough proved beyond necessary and seemingly impossible to achieve. They
were practically welded together and it wasn’t enough. She clawed his top,
wanting the damn thing off.
On a rough
moan, he cupped her ass and lifted her into his arms, her weight
inconsequential against his brute strength. Lost in intolerable need, she
pressed her thighs to his narrow hips, her pussy snug to his cock.
He tottered
backward and dropped onto the sofa, her straddling him.
Clothes
flew. Her tank top and bra tangled with his Henley.
He cupped
her naked breasts, his grin stretching from ear to ear.
Warmth
swirled in her stomach and pussy, his pleased reaction doing wonders for her
battered heart. Especially given his physical gifts: smooth olive skin, taut
pecs, and beautifully defined abs. Even Photoshopped male models didn’t look
this good. “Where’s your phone? I have to take your picture.”
“Later.
Yours first though.” He tongued her nipple into his mouth.
Riotous
pleasure shot through her. Never had she experienced such intense heat. Her
head fell back.
He suckled
hard, soft, and somewhere in between. His tongue flicked her tip relentlessly.
Nerve
endings fired. She trembled.
He held her
tightly, preventing escape.
As if she
were crazy enough to be anywhere but up close and personal.
Finished
with one boob, he sucked air and leaned toward the other.
“No, no,
no.” She gripped his head. “Stop!”
Alarm
flooded his handsome features, dread beneath it. “Why?”
“I want—I
have—I can’t wait any longer. Sorry.” She scrambled off his lap, knelt between
his legs, and tugged his fly.
“Whoa.” He
gripped her wrists. “Let me help before you draw blood.”
“Hurry.”
“Believe
me, I’m trying.” He yanked his button free and rammed down his zipper.
Together, they shoved his jeans and stretchy boxer briefs to his thighs.
His cock
sprang out, wavered, and landed on his belly, the thick shaft so hard it
pointed north.
“Wow.” She
cupped his lightly furred balls, their weight and warmth pure wonder. “You’re
gorgeous.”
He sagged
against the sofa but also pressed his family jewels into her palm. “Yeah?”
“I have to
take a picture.”
“Not
fucking now.” Breathing hard, he cupped her hand over his dick and balls.
“Don’t you dare stop.”
“No sir. I’ll be good.” She took his rod into her mouth, tonsil deep.

Rachel’s

Here’s an extract from “Don’t You Emma.”
… Lee sat back in the
leather armchair. She’d told him that all he had to do to get a damn good
fucking was to stay in the chair until she decreed otherwise.
As
he watched Daisy move around the living room Lee thought, not for the first
time, how inappropriately named she was. The name suggested someone meek,
gentle and childlike. It didn’t conjure the image of a tall, fit, fake blonde,
who could get her rocks off simply by beating your arse until it glowed purple.
She
was clearing the space in front of him. The coffee table had already been
repositioned to the side of the chair, and the newspapers that usually lay all
over the place had been stacked up. All the cushions he’d thrown off the sofa
had been neatly placed back where they belonged.
‘You
are going to reward me for watching you clean up?’ Lee was amused by this
uncharacteristic fit of tidying.
Daisy
gave him a stare that would have chilled a lesser man to the bone, but Lee had
known her for a long time and all it did was increase the arousal of her
promise to give him a good seeing-to.
‘I
don’t believe I said you could talk to me while you were waiting.’
‘Come
off it, Daisy. You’re only doing the chores.’
Ignoring
him, his partner brushed her hands together, and glancing at the increased
floor space across the now uncluttered pale green carpet, left the room.
Lee’s
imagination had already moved on to what reward he was going to get for being a
good, patient boy. He wondered if he’d have to endure a spanking, or if she’d
bind or gag him. Flickers of tense longing played in his stomach and stirred
his groin.
Glancing
at the clock on the corner of the bookcase, he listened to the quiet tick. It
seemed to fill the room as he waited with growing impatience for Daisy’s
return. He assumed she was fetching her sex toys, or perhaps changing into
something less comfortable. It was with a sense of a surprise and unease,
however, that Lee heard the front door open and the sound of muffled voices.
Despite
only wearing a red T-shirt and some lightweight black combats, Lee suddenly
felt rather hot as Daisy re-entered the lounge with company.
The
warning glint in Daisy’s eyes confirmed that Lee should stay precisely where he
was, his legs outstretched before him, his arms resting on the chair’s soft
padded arms, his mouth shut.
His
dark brown eyes moved from his lover to the girl with her. About 25 years old
perhaps, with long ginger hair that hung in two perfectly tied pigtails. Slim,
but with enough of a curve to catch the eye, her green gaze had a keen, eager
to please gleam, that just hinted at mischief.
Lee
swallowed very carefully. Daisy hadn’t, had she? Not really? He opened his
mouth to ask her if he was right, or if his imagination was running away with
him. No sound came out though. He didn’t want to risk her saying he was
mistaken and ruining the fantasy that roller-coasted around his lust driven
head.
The
girl, without taking off either the boots or the long winter coat she wore,
even though it was a warm summer’s day, answered his unspoken question, as she
lowered her head and knelt on the cleared floor before Daisy; her mistress.
‘Oh
my!’ His words were barely audible. Daisy either hadn’t heard them or had
dismissed them as unimportant. Lee concentrated very hard on breathing; forcing
himself to sit still and not lean forward in the chair….

After taking a break, we have a new release scheduled from Extasy Books early next year, so to celebrate we’re giving away autographed print books, one every month. This month it’s Cassie’s Hope, Book One in our horse racing series, Riders Up. Contest link after the excerpt:
Here’s a Sunday morsel for you:
EXCERPT
“You’ll do it then?” Her dad’s voice squeaked.
Guilt, excitement and fear washed over Cassie in such
quick succession that she couldn’t sort them out. Was she yielding? Hell, it’d
been a done deal before she’d left Hope in her paddock. “Yes, I’ll try. Six
months. No more. She is a very promising filly. I still don’t know how we can
afford to do this.”
“We can afford it.” Tug’s eyes twinkled. “I got
somethin’ else to tell you. Didn’t wanna till after you made up your mind.
Didn’t wanna influence you too much…I’ve agreed to sell eighty acres to Mr.
Dillingham, who’s been after that land for the last five years. After taxes and
everybody’s fees, we should net a little over a million dollars.” Nodding
softly, he said, “For once, I think we can afford to chase this dream.”
“Holy shit!” Cassie shrieked. “You did what? Why now?”
“There’s plenty of farm left for horses. Thought maybe
I’ve been too stubborn for my own good. This may be my last chance, Cass.
Holdin’ on to land is an important principle. But bein’ land poor probably
don’t make much sense either. It’s yours, you know. I’m just gonna share some
of it with you for awhile.”
“Oh, Daddy.” She bent down and kissed him on the
cheek. “I don’t know what to say! We could go out and buy contenders. Horses
that could be competitive stakes runners right away.”
“I know that.”
She saw a quick flash of that familiar stubborn streak
set deep in his cat-gray eyes.
“Nope. The key is to raise a big horse—not just buy
it. Any rich fool can buy into a good racehorse. That’s what baseball owners do
when they ignore their farm teams. It takes skill to raise a contender.”
What happens when a
fiercely loyal widowed half-Ute cowboy meets a fiery redhead with an Irish
temper to match? Cassidy O’Hanlon – Cassie, to her friends – has set aside her
Chicago career for six months to train racehorses for her dad after his stroke.
Furious the
interloper has shipped in a ringer from the Chicago circuit to his Wyoming
turf, Rancher/trainer Clint Travers sets out to put her in her place. Sparks
fly immediately, but after their rocky start, the two quickly forge a
passionate relationship, and he follows her to Chicago.
When it becomes
clear someone is drugging Cassie’s horse, Clint sets out to solve the mystery,
but storms off in a cloud of wounded pride when suspicions turn to him.
Can love trump
pride?
Five Stars at Goodreads: “…I took their journey with them. I felt their pain, their sadness, their struggles, and most of all their love. And that is the mark of a truly good book.” Faith, Goodreads

And this new reality means my old reality is trying to kill everything I love.
Including her.
Read the second book in USA Today bestselling author Meli Raine’s new Stateless
trilogy.
Every
breath makes my breasts push out, the air moving down and up, his hands sliding
from my shoulders to my elbows, wrapping me in an embrace from behind as he
nuzzles my neck, his deep inhale and sigh of pleasure a low rasp, the sound of
a man in deep need.
It’s a
sound I crave. Knowing I make Callum’s throat react with that rumble is a
victory.
His
hands move to my hips, then lower. Mouth on my ear, he whispers “Here,” as he
slips the jammer into my front pocket. “Cameras.” I slowly turn to face him,
pressed against his body as I slide the band over my wrist.
My pulse
pounds everywhere–the crook of my elbows, my temples, in my eyeballs, at the
center of my tongue–but it beats hardest between my legs, the rush of desire
more overpowering than I’d ever imagined. In all our training, we were taught
that sex is a weapon. Desire is used to manipulate. Atavistic impulses are a
biological imperative to use against another person in order to gain the upper
hand.
They
never told us it could feel so damn good, though.
Spinning
me around, his mouth crushes mine, fingers digging into my hair, palms cupping
the back of my neck, his body grinding into mine. I didn’t come here for sex,
but I have a feeling I’m not leaving without it.
I’m not
sure I could leave without it, at this point.
“The
first book in the False trilogy is a psychological thriller worthy of
Hitchcock, keeping you guessing until the very end.” — Apple Books Editors
“…intrigue
and dark humor on display in this thriller…”
While
the immediate—and more compelling—tension in Raine’s (A Shameless Little Bet, 2018, etc.) heart-pumping series opener
comes from Lily’s constant proximity to her would-be killer, the action takes
place against a backdrop of secret government scandals. The “screwed-up
D.C.-insider scandal,” as it is clumsily summarized early on, is pleasingly
twisty…
Fortunately,
Lily’s voice is captivating, wry, and tough enough to sell this thriller. The
novel ends with a cliffhanger that startles, if only because readers will have
become so attached to Lily.
