A huge thank you to Carrie Ann Ryan and Leia Shaw for organizing this Hop. They’re celebrating brand new releases with an angel (Carrie Ann’s) and a demon (Leia’s), so the question of the day is – would you rather snuggle up with an angel, or a demon?
Personally, I’m going for the angelic side – but the particular angelic character I have in mind has a touch of the devilish in her, as well. I’m talking about the love goddess Aria, a pivotal character in the very first published erotic romance my husband and I wrote together, Colors of the Night. We were thrilled to get a five kisses review from TwoLips right out of the gate with our very first effort – here’s a snippet!:
Colors of the Night is an unexpectedly volcanic story which turns the reader up to sizzling from the very first page, yet has a true story line which takes the couple from apathetic despair to love and cherishing. I highly recommend this book, although the reader will no doubt want either a partner or a bucket of toys close at hand.
Barely a year later, we weren’t so thrilled when the original publisher went belly up, taking our books with them. We waited the process out and, once our rights had reverted to us, subbed the book to Extasy, where we were having good success. It was re-released three years ago this week.
